Jaishankar Prasad (1889?1937), one of the main pillars of *Chhayavaad*, was equally renowned as a novelist, playwright, and short story writer. He stood on par with the great Sanskrit poets Kalidasa and Bhavabhuti. His poetry reflects deep faith and profound individualism.
