About the author: Masashi Kishimoto was born in Japan in 1974. He became deeply interested in manga after watching Doremon, Dragon Ball and Kinnikuman. He wanted to create his own manga. He went to an art school hoping to be able to create something new and fabulous. He started working for a magazine and created a couple of manga which drew a lukewarm response. He hit gold with his Naruto series. The series remained a bestseller and was closed in 2014 after 15 years of serialisation. Kishimoto also worked on several movies featuring Naruto. At present he is working on a new Sci-fi manga. Kishimoto’s twin Seishi is also a manga author of series like 666 Satan and Blazer Drive. Ki-shimoto is married and lives with his wife and son.
