A long dry summer in the remote hills spell trouble for the Bisnu and his family. With no hope in sight, Bisnu sets out for the city. Though Bisnu finds work in Mussoorie, he soon realises the callous, insensitive city is vastly different from the loving nooks of his little village. Where will Bisnu’s fate take him. For Vijay, the juicy, ripe fruits and yummy confectioneries at the town shops are a constant source of longing. Then one day, a rich boy with a bag o sweets follow Vijay around with a kind smile; building his hope. Will a rich boy’s generosity finally give Vijay a chance to taste the tempting treats?
